{1} I finally took the Christmas tree down this week (not to worry, it was a faker). as I was wrapping up the lights, ethan says, "it's dark in here!". being gone for 6 weeks right after thankgiving, during Christmas, and returning before valentine's can be quite the holiday mess. I just threw away some gourds, still have Christmas decorations lying around, and made a cute valentine's centerpiece today. whatever. #whatmonthisitanyway

{2} if you haven't heard mandisa, maybe you should. the lyrics are good, the beat is fun-- some good singing-in-the-car tunes! #pumpitup

{3} what did we do for the Superbowl? went to base, played on a playground, and grabbed some groceries, of course! i'd like to think i'm the smarter grocery-shopper out there for choosing a time when NO ONE else is at the grocery store. score! after eating a quick dinner, I got the boys in the bathtub. this usually affords a few moments of downtime, where I sit by the tub and watch them play. tonight in particular, I was eating a cookie and catching up on facebook less-than-exciting news when I heard "poo poo!". darn it. my cookie-eating, news-reading moments of peace were quickly changed to a flurry of getting littles out of tub, sanitizing everything, then back in the tub to pick up where we left off. minus the poop. needless to say, my cookie-eating appetite quickly disappeared! #blessingindisguise

{4} who breaks a toilet seat? I mean, really? my almost-one-year-old, that's who! granted, it was already a bit loose, but this busy, into-everything walker just yanked it off this morning. #heeatshiswheaties #buthe'ssostinkincute

{5} 14 weeks pregnant! the yuckiness has gone, the energy is renewed (who am I kidding?), and baby T3 is growing strong! #2ndtrimester3rdbaby
