another reason why...

i'm a dork.

so, I have had a blog since January 2010. I enjoy it. it's a fun outlet for me to write and organize my thoughts, share our life with those who are interested, and document all the in-between things that might otherwise be forgotten.

I am not one who spends hours reading other people's blogs. I have my few favorites and I usually stick to those. I don't spend a great deal of my time putting my blog "out there" to acquire more pageviews and followers. nothing wrong with that, just not what I have done with this blog (not to say I won't someday).

I did, however, happen to notice that the most posts I've written in a month ever is sixteen. not stellar, but plenty considering this phase of life. I have had this number in the back of my head for months now, and everytime I get close to blogging more than that, I get busy or just don't feel like blogging. here I am, in the short month of February, and i'm finally going to beat my goal. ha! competitiveness shows up in the most silly places.
