{tulips} are all around us this time of year and they are beautiful!!! last weekend, our family took a road trip to a part of Washington where there are literally fields and fields of tulips and daffodils. absolutely amazing. I love flowers and I love color-- this place was the perfect combination. I was in picture heaven, taking over 150 pictures in just 20 minutes! i'll just show you a few of my favorites for now and hopefully post about it later this week!

{a kite flying day} is what we had here. the day was beautiful from beginning to end, so we took the boys to our local university campus to play! ethan has a new kite and could hardly wait to use it, so we headed out, hoping the wind would cooperate!

{more veggies} no sugar and less processed is the name of the game around here (at least during the week). I found this veggie fried rice recipe and it was delicious! an easy way to get in lots of great veggies and it was quick and easy to make! double bonus!
