boys and trucks

a warm, sunny afternoon here in Washington. levi was taking a good and long afternoon nap, so ethan and i had some fun outside!

i have to brag on my little boy-- he loves company when it comes to playing, but i can often count on him to play really well by himself. this comes in super handy when nursing an infant or needing to get a few things done now and then.

this particular afternoon, we had a great time together! we colored, played with the ball, ran around the yard, etc...then i decided it was time for some pictures. it has been ages since i have used a camera other than my phone camera to take some good pictures of our kiddos, so i took advantage of the beautiful sun, one of my favorite photo subjects, and a napping infant! ethan became busy playing with his trucks, so i just snapped away while he played!
