1. the boys and I are still on our east coast tour and it is not typical winter weather, even for SC!!! the sun is shining and filling our days with warm. I am loving it!
2.
we're having a baby! still seems surreal at moments, but we are excited about this new life and that the word is out! 12 weeks today!
3. there aren't many things as cute as three little boy cousins playing in the dirt together. last week, the boys spent the better part of a day together-- digging in the dirt, running around the backyard, playing baseball...you know, little boy activities! these three are each ten months apart and are as boy as they come!

4. our east coast tour has included wonderful visits with dear friends. I don't always think to document these visits at the time, but am appreciative when I do! here is my college roomie and I, after catching up over lunch this weekend! we've known each other half of our lives, which still sounds so crazy to me!
5. my boys have had some MAJOR grandparent time over the past five weeks and they are loving every minute of it! I think they are going to have serious grandparent-withdrawal once we get back to WA! thank goodness for facetime and Skype! I love how my boys have been loved on so well!

6. I drove by our old house this afternoon. I was telling our toddler all about how we used to live here and walked a gazillion times around the neighborhood and where his little friends lived. i'm not gonna lie, I teared up as I remembered all our wonderful memories from living in this neighborhood. but I am thankful that, as much as I will always love Charleston, "home" is now where we live as a family in WA. "home" will be ever-changing, but not. there will be a constant to our always-updated address and that will be the growing family who lives there together. maybe one day we'll settle and grow roots somewhere, but I am thankful for the numerous "plants" we have made and will make along the way.
happy Monday to you!
linking up with my dear and oh-so-speedy friend
Carissa
