Mid-May miscellaneous

{happy mother's day} I love being a mom! It's a job that challenges and stretches me but that brings heaps of joy! ethan and levi keep me busy, but a good busy, and such a rewarding busy! We had a perfect mother's day-- my sweet husband got up with our toddler so i could sleep in with the baby, he made breakfast for us, we worshiped together at church, took sunday afternoon naps (on the couch all together, well, minus ethan), and since the weather was unbelievably gorgeous, we took the boys for a run then played outside for a couple of hours! I love having the time to spend together as a family!

{who's a star?} one of my favorite shows is back! The next food network star premiered last night! And since we are still in temporary housing on base, we have cable so I can watch it! (even when we move into our house, I can watch it on the Internet for free, so no worries!) I don't really dream of being a food network star, but i love watching these people try to make their dream come true!

{hair loss} levi is three months old and my hormones are at their peak-- at least i guess that's what is going on because my hair is falling out like crazy! the same thing happened when ethan was about three months old. does this happen to all moms???

{Jillian update} today was workout #13 of the 30-day shred! i am taking sundays off from the video to give my body one day of rest from the same workout but have also been running a couple of times a week in addition to jillian's training. between the two, i am feeling good and can tell that i am stronger as a result of these workouts! best of all, it feels good to have a fitness challenge and stick to it!

{instagram} love, love it! it means i have been taking more pictures with my phone camera than with my "real" camera, but i am enjoying this phone app and it has been a great way to keep family back home updated with our happenings. are you on instagram? look me up: art0316
