mid-week confessions and week 5 photo, a little late
just for the record, i wrote this in advance. i anticipated (and hoped) that i would be too busy taking care of a newborn to work on this, which in fact is NOT the case!
1. i'm still pregnant.
2. i love pizza. i could eat pizza at least once a week. doesn't have to be fancy-- i love frozen pizza, take-out, or my new recent favorite, homemade! i have made homemade pizza at least once a week this month (ok, the last two months). my sweet husband. he puts up with so much. we ate pizza again tonight.
3. i don't floss daily. big deal, right? well, i swore that when i got my braces off (at age 29) that i would floss daily forever since it was such a huge pain in the butt with braces on. i lied. i floss about twice a week.
4. my husband flosses every.single.day. (i realize that this is not his blog or his mid-week confessions). i'm just so impressed with his devotion to dental hygeine.
5. my son LOVES brushing his teeth (whose mid-week confessions are these, anyway?)! he says, "brush, brush" and climbs up on the toilet seat lid and waits for me to get his toothbrush ready. he's so cute!
6. speaking of cute, my nephew wesley is such a cutie! last weekend, i was taking pictures of him with my phone. just for fun, i said "smile, wesley!". he, with complete straight face, looked at me, and as soon as the flash came on, gave me this big grin:
7. since i didn't get around to posting week 5's picture (due to the fact that i have been "on call" for this baby for weeks now and have my "last minute stuff" in a bag to throw in the car...this includes my camera, unfortunately, so my picture-taking has decreased tremendously!), #6 is my picture of the week for last week. stay tuned for week 6's picture-- i think it's going to be a favorite! i know i'm excited to see it!
hehe i think it is totally fair game to include the men in your life in these confessions :)
ReplyDeleteI hope your sweet boy makes his appearance very soon!
ReplyDeleteevery-day flossing is very impressive! :) hope we get to read about the baby next week!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Just further proof that Brian and Peter were separated at birth. Peter flosses daily as well and I just sit there and watch:)
ReplyDeleteAnd Stafford loves to brush his teeth too. We might as well encourage these good habits in our boys...especially since S has started laughing if he toots!
Oh, I'm sure you are going crazy waiting for that baby. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteMy hubby also flosses daily. When we were on vacation he actually threw the box of floss at me and said "you can't take a vacation from flossing."
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
