happy winds-day, pooh!

i enjoyed my mid-week confessions post last week, so here we are again!

1. i'm still pregnant.

2. i ran on sunday. yes, this 39-week pregger walked out the door and began to jog through the neighborhood for all to see. it wasn't fast. it wasn't pretty. it wasn't for long. but i did it. i figured that as long as it wasn't completely uncomfortable, it was worth a try to get this kid thinking about being born! i'm still pregnant.

3. remember the Rx for my piles and piles of paper? yeah, haven't done a single thing with them, except shove a pile into the inbox. that's a start, anyway.

4. i have finally introduced my little guy to Winnie the Pooh, the movie (the real one, not the recently redone one). what took me so long?-- it's so cute! and, after trying to watch even 101 Dalmatians with him, i realized we are going to have to filter, filter, filter the tv/videos that he is exposed to! name-calling, bad attitudes, inappropriate behavior responses, etc fill television screens these days-- as if we need one more habit to break our children of! but, winnie the pooh. he's a cuddly little tubby old bear, full of sweetness, friendships, caring, and maybe eating a tad too many sweets. don't we all?

5. no.more.cleaning. i have cleaned our house a few good times in the past couple of weeks, in anticipation of a newborn and the realization that a good cleaning  may not happen for a while. i'm done. this kid has yet to arrive, but i am done.

6. i eat an orange just about every day. at least during this time of the year, when citrus is readily available and delicious. eating oranges every day makes me think of my sweet friend Lea (from whom i found out about mid-week confessions), who would eat an orange every single day while we were in PA school together. i was always impressed with her neatness-- i am a super messy orange eater! love you, Lea!

that is probably enough confessions for one week! thanks for reading!

  1. Your confessions are quite legit!
You never know. Maybe you running just sped things up a couple of days... always look for the bright side right?

I was anti-Winnie the Pooh when my girl was born and I have no idea why... probably because I figured he was "old" and "outdated" but now I have come around. He really is so cute.

  2. Your blog is cute! I am impressed you went jogging, but I know the feeling of wanting to do anything to get a baby out! I'm a new follower. I love Winnie too

  3. I used to eat 2 clementines every day with my lunch when I was pregnant. Now 6 months out, I still can't kick the habit!
