i promise!

if you were in need of something, and a good friend promised to give you that something, a friend that you trusted and that you knew cared about you, you would expect them to come through, right? probably so.

what about the promises we have from God? who's more trustworthy, more dependable, more loving, has our good at heart more than Him? best part: He has made these promises without our even asking. without our doing anything to earn His favor. simply because of His great love and mercy.

here are some promises that i have been clinging to recently...

{i will never leave you, nor forsake you}

Deuteronomy 31:6

{He who began a good work in you will complete it}

Philippians 1:6

{there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus}

Romans 8:1

{this is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it}

Psalms 118:24
