a not-so-scary miscellaneous monday
{old friends} i was able to see some high school friends at a recent baby shower for my friend, Rebekah. it's funny how even 10+ years later, it doesn't feel like it. times goes on and our lives change with marriage and babies and moves, but i was thankful for this opportunity to catch up with these friend and their little boys!

{gray matter} finished my book! i mentioned it here, and i became completely absorbed in it over the last week. Gray Matter by Dr. David Levy. i learned about this man's faith, a lot about neurosurgery, and his obedience to and subsequent blessings from God calling him to pray with his patients. what a difference he has made in so many patients' lives as a result of his obedience!
{walking}...without a stroller is weird. for the past almost-seventeen months, when i have walked for exercise it has been with a stroller in front of me. i went for a walk the other day, sans ethan, and it felt just plain strange. soon, it will be strange to walk without a double stroller. three more months til baby T2 arrives!
{pumpkin, pumpkin} our weekend was full of sweet treats, fun friends, and lots of pumpkin! more in a later post, but here's a picture of my favorite lil' cowboy!

I laughed about the milk comment. How odd that they would put that on there. Hope yall have a great halloween! ~Andrea
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about it not feeling like time has gone by. I met up with an old friend for the first time in ages last week and it was so strange to chat about all the 'grown up' things we were doing and the fact that I've just moved into my first proper house. When we first met we were just carefree teenagers and I don't feel all that different now!
ReplyDeleteLove the milk - that's hilarious!
