many reasons to be thankful

november is thankful season. i have numerous reasons to be thankful, not only this month, but throughout the year! blessings abound, even if they are sometimes seemingly hidden.

{more fresh flowers} from Gerald's Tires. yes, that is correct. these men not only provide quality tire service, they also give a single rose to each and every female customer! i am thankful for a new tire (instead of the flat tire that i woke up to last week) and a beautiful rose!

{countdowns} are everywhere in this family. yesterday's date was especially meaningful as it marks one month left of my husband's training! more to come in a month, but God has been extremely faithful and good to us during this time. i am grateful for His provision through life's difficult challenges!

{11/11/11} is such a fun date! i wonder if many couples chose today for their wedding so they could enjoy a unique anniversary date for years to come! regardless, it is Veteran's Day. my favorite military veteran is my dear husband. i am so, so thankful for him. i am thankful for his service to our country and his servant leadership as my husband and the head of our home. he is a hard worker, intelligent, humble, full of honor and integrity, a rule-follower beyond belief (a good thing!), patient, a wonderful daddy to our little boy, and my best friend!
