miscellaneous {almost 30} monday
{twenty-something}
...for one more day. tomorrow i will be 30. whoa. does this mean i am supposed to be super-mom-ish (whatever that means), full of wisdom and maturity, cut my hair short, and start
{buzz}
ethan could watch the bee movie every.single.day. he doesn't watch a lot of tv, but something about this particular movie will have him sitting on the couch for its entirety. i'm amazed. i didn't think kids his age could sit still for that long, even with entertainment. although, it is a pretty funny movie...have you seen it?
{no spice for me, thank you}
i can't believe it am actually writing this, but i don't like the spicy chicken sandwich at chic-fil-a. gasp. please don't tell the cathy family. i love chic-fil-a. dearly. maybe it is just this pregnancy, but i'm not a big fan of the sandwich, especially when you compare it to the incredible original! it's just a bit much for this not-so-spicy-lovin' mouth.
{look, it's a nook instead of a book!}
nook sounds like such a dr seuss word, doesn't it? anyways, i have one now! my generous PhD computer science techie brother was getting rid of his old one, and gave it to me! i am excited about the possibilites-- reading on road trips without the bulk, reading while feeding baby T2 once he arrives, reading several books at once without carting around an entire library, etc. any recommendations on a good read?
hope you all have a fabulous monday and a wonderful week!
linking up with carissa today at lowercase letters!
disclaimer: i apologize for the lack of pictures and the not-so-great formatting of this post...i'll spruce it up later when i'm on my own computer. oh, and more details about my fabulous weekend in a later post...stay tuned!
Yay for the nook! I think the opposite of Dr. Seuss... I think of nookie. Lol!
