mommy times two miscellaneous
i have sat down to write this post on several occasions throughout the day. i either get interrupted (hello, two kids) which is fine-- they are much more important than blogging, after all-- OR i completely forget the miscellaneous i was going to write. ha. how's that for mommy brain?
so, here goes...
1. a few weeks ago i attempted the very first venture out of the house with the two boys. solo. (just took a break to play with mega blocks with ethan...i'm back) we had two house showings that day, so i decided that we needed to get out for a while. can i just tell you that i felt like super mom, taking my two boys to Target, all by myself? i wanted to tell everyone there that it was our first outing and how i was so proud of myself. but, if you look around Target in the mid-morning hours, you realize that it is mostly moms with their little ones and you know it took a lot of effort for each one of us to get out! way to go, super moms!
2. my sweet husband (of almost four years!) made me nutella-stuffed french toast for breakfast yesterday morning before church-- his own idea and creation. it was delicious. he's a keeper. it was a wonderful start to a great day with our family!
3. can someone buy our house already so we can go back to being normal messy people?
4. it has taken me FOREVER to write this post. i lose motivation with each attempt to finish.
5. ok, on to some pictures. i have still been taking pictures (what happened to my photo project, right?), it just takes a lot of time to download them, edit, and attach them. well, not a lot of time, just more time than i usually have to devote to the task.
6. the obligatory one month photo. i seriously belly-laughed when going through these pictures, choosing my favorite. he is the most adorable little boy, and i don't think this picture does his cuteness justice. i love both of his chins! one month old, over 12 pounds, more alert and more handsome every day!

our sweet big boy. side note: could he have more perfectly long eyelashes? |
i'm pretty obsessed with ethan's feet. since he was born. i'm sure i'll be the same with Levi. |
this kid loves to play. here is a snapshot of what fills our days. |
