what's he up to now?

it has been a while since i have done an ethan update. i have yet to decide how often i'll update you on fun things like his growth and development, now that he's one year old.

for now, i will say that we are in a FUN stage! (every stage has been fun, so that's easy for me to write-- it truly just gets better and better!). case in point, as i type this, ethan is "reading" a book, pointing out all the objects he knows (dog, choo choo train, flower, etc) and saying his version of the words! he gets so excited, he stands up and starts laughing and talking really loudly!

ethan is "talking" a ton, eats pretty much everything (favs are scrambled eggs, any kind of fruit he can get his hands on, cheese, sweet potatoes), has finally mastered his "signs" (more, all done, please, fish), still takes 2 naps a day (this boy loves his own bed!), and when he's not doing those things, he is running around playing! full of energy and smiles and occasional squeals and screams, i think we have a happy boy! he loves to "wrestle" with daddy, loves to be tickled and to pretend to tickle you, loves music, instruments, and dancing, loves climbing and LOVES going outside. the 100+ temperatures don't seem to phase him at all! here are some of my favorite latest pictures!
