look who's blogging!
in no particular order...
this is my friend, Laura. we were first friends because our husbands were friends. now we're friends all by ourselves! laura and i share a love for charleston, have husbands who are both c-17 pilots, go to the same church, and have sweet little boys only 9 weeks apart! Storybook Reality is a fun blog full of recipes, photography projects, and pictures of a sweet baby boy!
2. Simply Mom
i am so proud of my sister, Rebekah, for re-vamping her blog! she has had a blog longer than i have known what a blog was, but has recently wiped off the dust and she's back!!! bekah is a wife, a mom of two adorable girls (my sweet nieces) and a little boy on the way! she is busy supporting her husband faithfully, investing in the lives of these kids, and working from home with an embroidery business.
3. ansley
the mcevoy family, near and dear to my heart, have a blog full of updates of their sweet ansley, their fifth and youngest child. ansley was diagnosed with lyphoma in december 2010. reading this blog will make you cry as your read the details of her story, smile as you see her sweet face in the midst of a diagnosis that is way bigger than she is, and applaud as you see this dear family walking through a difficult time with faith in a God who is way bigger than the problem could ever be!

carissa is a sweet friend who i have known for a few years. her husband, who i have known for several years, is the contemporary worship minister at our church. she has two adorable children and her youngest is only a day older than ethan! carissa's blog is the very first blog i ever followed! it is always super-cute and full of the reality of life with two little kids. i look forward to her miscellany mondays each week and am thankful for her openness, creativity, and her sweet spirit.
5. emily
my younger sister, emily, has entered the blogosphere. she has yet to post a 2nd time, but, hey, she's a college girl. who has time to write blog entries when her time is filled with movie nights, intramural sports, and, oh yeah, studying!?!? haha, just kidding, em!
want to know what God's doing in Uganda? check out this blog. the Johnson family is going for it as they live each day for God's purposes. i knew the Johnsons (pre-kiddos) several years ago while Travis was in medical school and his wife, Amy, was a teacher. now, Travis, Amy, and their 3 kids have been living in Bundibugyo, Africa, for a year and are being challenged and stretched beyond what they ever imagined, i'm sure. but, how glorious to hear the stories of God's faithfulness! check it out!
Aww!! Thanks for the blog love :) I LOVE your post below!! I need to delve into the Shepherding book...it is on my kitchen island just waiting for me!!
