the day at the beach

for one of our last family fun times in charleston, i suggested that we take the boys to the beach. even though we lived in charleston, the beach was 45 minutes away, so needless to say, it was not a venture we took often.

we had the best time! the weather was a bit cool, but that didn't keep ethan from getting his feet wet! i ended up nursing our little one (not recommended on a cool, windy day at the beach), but i enjoyed watching ethan play and experience a piece of charleston that i love. it was Levi's first trip to the beach, but i don't have any pictures of him, since he ate and slept the entire time. those newborns.

it was a perfect family outing on a perfect charleston day.

washington is no charleston, but thankfully, we are located right on the water! how glorious to have a view of the water with mountains as a backdrop? pictures to come of our gorgeous new surroundings!
