i went for a run

...and just got home a few minutes ago. i.love.our.neighborhood. it is the absolute cutest.

this time on my run, i brought my phone so I could take pictures. i'll be getting out soon with my nice camera so I can capture the amazing colors of spring. here are a few phone pictures to give you a glimpse.

allow me to create the scene for you. i'm wearing running pants and a long-sleeved shirt because there's just enough chill in the air to make it comfortable but you runners would be fine in a t-shirt and shorts, too.
people are out in their yards. almost every home has a garden of some sort, vegetables or flowers. the yards are well-kept and the soil must be great because all sorts of colors decorate the flower beds. it makes for gorgeous running scenery.

there are hills, but you can opt out and run mostly flat roads if you are out-of-running-hills shape like me...
