{levi six months}

six months with our precious Levi! I can hardly believe so much time has passed since that February morning, heading to the hospital to deliver this little (big) guy!

 

i know i sound like a broken record, but this little boy is so sweet! while i am in no hurry for him to get big, i am excited to see what this happy and go-with-the-flow guy will be like when he gets older! he puts up with delayed meals, a big brother smothering him with kisses, and lots of other craziness! his big blue eyes and melt-your-heart smile are absolutely precious and he has a temperament to match. i love this little boy!



 

at his six-month checkup at the pediatrician, he weighed in at 22lbs 2oz (98th percentile). he is 28 3/4 inches long (100th percentile). clearly, he is a healthy boy! during this month, Levi has almost mastered sitting up, with only an occasional topple. he grabs for toys and is constantly putting them in his mouth! he moves his legs constantly and loves playing in his jumparoo. he rolls over both ways and pivots and scoots his way around the room. he is eager to keep up with his big brother's busy activities and is mostly entertained watching ethan play. i love that ethan is equally entertained and enjoys making Levi smile and laugh! he truly can get a cackle out of Levi more than anyone else!

 



 

Levi is eating solids regularly now. he has eaten a number of fruits and veggies, including sweet potatoes, avacado, peas, squash, blueberries, peaches, applesauce, bananas, and prunes. i think it's safe to say he likes just about whatever he can get his hands (or mouth) on! his favorite thing right now is a mesh pocket feeder we have, where various fruit and veggies can be put in and eaten without being concerned with peelings or seeds. he LOVES it! i have given him watermelon, frozen grapes, all sorts of berries, banana, and apples. as soon as he sees it coming, he starts bouncing in his seat and then grabs it and holds on to it! so funny!

 

 

Levi is a great sleeper and has been for months. he continues to sleep through the night and takes 2-3 naps a day. he is a cuddler and when he is really tired, all it usually takes is scooping him up and snuggling for him to fall fast asleep. i love those moments and i take advantage of getting as many of them as i can! 

 

 

we love you, sweet boy! you bring such joy to our family each and every day and we are so thankful for you!
