call me weird, but...
i actually enjoy meal planning and cooking dinner. most of the time.
i have always liked grocery shopping and still do, even with my toddler (armed with plenty of snacks, of course).
i think the best part of frosted mini wheats (which i haven't eaten in forever) is the bottom of the bag where they are all crushed up. i like to fill my bowl/mug with these and then saturate them with milk. yum.
i eat cereal (and ice cream. and oatmeal.) out of coffee mugs, rather than a bowl.
i prefer the small fork in the place setting.
apparently, i think about food way too much (my entire list so far is food-related).
i don't like a dirty bathroom but i will go days without even thinking about vacuuming.
i stretch every night before going to bed.
i cannot stand wearing lipstick. didn't even wear it to my own wedding.
i am a list freak.
i have been tempted to write "make a list for ____" on my list. not really, but that's what a list freak i am.
i sometimes write things that i have completed on my list, just so i can check it off.
i love being organized, but lack the discipline to actually make it happen in so many areas of my life (i.e. paper!).
i typically have a few good books going at the same time and prefer it this way.
the "lose-your-belly" feeling, even on a swingset, scares me. i face my fear every chance i get and make myself swing really, really high. just for a minute.
i didn't ride roller coasters until i was an adult. same fear as the swing, only a million times worse.
singing is one my absolute favorite things to do.
i can wash clothes all day long, but it will take me an entire week to put the clean clothes away.
three of my top favorite smells are freshly-cut grass, clean laundry from the vent behind a house, and brand-new tires in a tire store.
i love school supplies. when i turned 11, i asked for a bookbag and notebooks for my birthday.
i feel really strange if i go more than two or three days without exercising.
christian radio sometimes makes me crazy.
i don't like talking on the phone.
i know i have watched too much ER when i start thinking about dr. green and carol hathaway in my spare time.
i really don't watch that much ER. but i do own the first 9 seasons on DVD.
i like tv series on DVD. not that weird, i know. it is my preferred way to watch television. i think two hours to commit to a movie is too long for me, but i will watch four 45-minute episodes, no problem.
making big decisions can be pretty easy for me, but i will spend hours contemplating a minor purchase at a store.
i am so not-into-details about a lot of things (more a "big picture" person), but i can be a such a control freak at the same time.

linking up with carissa at lowercase letters, doing a lil' something different for this miscellaneous monday!
I had to laugh about the frosted mini wheats. I am the same way!
ReplyDeleteit's so funny because we are very much alike in some spots and very much opposite in others. i need to make lists but for the life of me i don't. i don't like phone talk either! lipstick makes me feel old lady ish. i never wear it either! i am a details person (this is where my non-list making doesn't seem to make sense) but not a control freak. i don't even make sense!
