1. it's the last monday before the big move. let's just say that my cross-country moving learning curve is super steep. the whole "the packers move you so what's the big deal" mentality that i started with is long gone. the "holy moly, there's a ton of pre-moving organization involved" reality is setting in. throw in two little boys and you've got yourself a party!
2. the best part of this moving business is that our house has sold!!! no more house showings, hallelujah! five weeks on the market, fifteen to twenty showings and one open house later and we have an offer. a huge answer to prayer and a wonderful blessing to send us on our way out west!
3. murphy's law. heading out to run errands for the morning. both boys fed, dressed, ready to go, buckled in. a feat in itself. car loaded with extra diapers, snacks, sippy cups, etc. and, wouldn't you know? the car won't start. a few hours and a new car battery later, we are back on track for moving preparations. better now than on the road next week!
4. enough about moving...our family had a wonderful weekend, celebrating our risen Savior and enjoying time with family and friends!
