hello friday!
hello, due date!
i never thought you would come with a baby still in my belly. it's ok, though. really, it's fine. i'm hoping it's an indication that we will have a very laid-back, content, (and chunky) baby here soon!
hello, sweet little boy (soon-to-be-big-brother)!
ah. i can't get enough of your cuddles and hugs! i am soaking up every single one. especially because the majority of the time, you are on the go and too busy for snuggling. but when you start running toward me and barrel into my arms with your own spread out wide, i take that minute to just sit and enjoy the blessing of a healthy, happy boy who loves his mama. doesn't get a whole lot better than that.
hello, clean house!
would you stay that way, for a little while anyway, pretty please? at least for a week or two while we have a baby and adjust to life with two boys under two? thanks a million.
hello, dust!
ok, so you're the only part of the said clean house that i'm not really motivated to clean. don't take it personally. i just know that as soon as i get rid of you, you come right back. why???
hello, local weather!
you are absolutely gorgeous. i am so over needing some cold days so that it feels like winter, blah, blah, blah. there are plenty of winters-to-come for that. no thanks, i'll take beautiful and sunny and blue skies and 70's!
hello, little baby boy!
i think you'll really like it out here. you have lots and lots of people who love you already and are so excited to meet you! i'm beginning to think you don't want to meet us and i'm starting to take it personally. just kidding. i'm so glad i have provided a warm and cozy environment for you, but seriously? you should see your warm and cozy cradle and blankets and cute clothes! did i mention all of us who are so excited to meet you and see your sweet face and give you kisses?!?!
hello, readers!
you are all so great for putting up with my "no baby yet" chatter and random thoughts in between. i hope you keep reading!
