do I have time to blog anymore?
It's a great question. And one I am willing to test.
I miss blogging, mainly for documenting our life these days. I don't keep a consistent journal, so this has served that purpose for me over the past several years.
Since my last post, we have added a little one to our family. Julianne is a precious and perfect addition to our family! Four kids, six years old and younger (for a few more weeks). Life is a strange mixture of activity and noise, with some calm and rest thrown in to keep us all sane. Watching these little ones grow into the people they are becoming is such a joy! My oldest is almost 7 (!)-- he is smart and silly, a great thinker and always full of questions. He loves to play-- anything Legos or Star Wars-- and being outside and getting dirty is a plus. My second is 5-- he is excited about life, loves being around people, and anything that involves jumping, running, or climbing-- he is in! He has a big smile, and is such a teddy bear. My big girl is almost 4 (!) and is as sweet as can be. She is content to play quietly around me and LOVES being a big sister. Seriously, she was born to be a big sister. She can cry at the drop of a hat, which we are working on, and her tenderness, intuitiveness, and compassion are such a wonderful blessing to our family. Our baby girl is 8 months old. She is b.u.s.y. Already crawling, pulling up on furniture (almost), a good eater, becoming a better sleeper, and full of smiles. She doesn't want to miss a thing when it comes to our family and she loves watching her siblings live life around her. They adore her, and are so sweet to play with her and care for her.
That is our life for now. Another Midwest summer is about to begin-- school is out in just a few days and I am excited to chronicle our summer adventures!
