here are a few favorite pictures from our Christmas celebration! we had a fabulous couple of weeks, adjusting to daddy being home (what adjustment? ethan has a new best bud-- "where daddy?" is his new question anytime my husband even so much as leaves the room for a second!), spending time with family, doing christmas-y things, and simply enjoying the season.
even with Christmas behind us, i am realizing daily how blessed we are-- to live in this country, to have salvation freely given to us through Jesus Christ, to be graciously provided for in practical ways, to have health and a home and food to eat, to have family and friends who we love and who love us!

i love this little boy! i can't say it enough! i love his expression in this picture-- he looks so much like his daddy! |
merry christmas! 35 weeks today (this was at 34 weeks) |
our merry christmas eve, all-dressed-up, picture! not the best quality, but not bad for a phone camera! |
the sweetest little girls! our beautiful nieces, abby and katie! |
can't forget this happy guy! our not-so-little nephew, wesley! |
this picture cracks me up! i promise he smiles! just not in pictures, apparently! this was on one of our daily walks-- i taught him recently to sit on his hands when they are cold (and he refuses to put on his gloves)-- i guess he got it because he did this on his own. so cute! |

another fun ethan expression. this was while singing christmas songs accompanied by grandaddy Harmon on the guitar! one of his favorites this christmas is "feliz navidad"! |
definitely can't leave this one out! this is our precious little Levi, to be born sometime in the next 30 days or so! look at those sweet cheeks and lips-- amazing! we love him so much already! |
