"who is this guy, mommy? i like him!" ethan and brian's reunion!

Ethan turned 7 months this week! he is getting bigger every day-- literally, every time i pick him up after a meal, he feels heavier to me! this month has been sweet, as we celebrated "Daddy" coming home! ethan has perfected his babbling and can say "dadadada" almost on cue. he has been sitting up like a champ for over a month now, and has started to get on those hands and knees like he wants to take off! he can bring himself to a standing position with little assistance and can hold on to the couch/chair/table while standing like a big boy! it's exciting, but i am not in a hurry for the mobility! ethan is still enjoying his veggies and fruit with oatmeal, and has added cheerios, Gerber puffs, real banana, and peas to his menu-- he's getting the fine motor skills of finger-grasping down! my favorite new "trick" of ethan's is his response to music-- he loves it and has started "dancing" now when he hears songs playing...so cute! lastly, another milestone to note-- ethan's first tooth came through on new year's day! goodbye, gummy smile; hello, real food!
