these days
somehow, I managed to write about Evelyn's birth. and, since then, well, I have disappeared. Not for lack of material, thoughts, or even time (thanks to the blogger app). Just not a priority, you know? Busy nursing a baby girl, playing buzz and woody for the umpteenth time with my favorite 3-yr-old, and reading/singing "the itsy bitsy spider"'with my favorite 18-month-old. Ah, yes. Our days are busy...but not, if that makes any sense. We're slowly but yes, Lord surely figuring out our new rhythm and dancing along. No point getting too used to it-- it will probably change next week, as things do with little ones around!
And now for enough pictures of our kiddos to make even the grandparents' heads spin.
Evelyn is a delight. We all enjoy her and I love holding her as much as I did with the first (and the second). Her brothers are big fans and Ethan tells me often how "coot" she is! Levi gets excited when he sees or hears her, says some version of "baby Evelyn" and kisses her often. Now that my husband is back at work, I have to make sure he gets some Evelyn time, too, with two busy boys competing for his attention.
I have numerous blog post thoughts in my head, so maybe sometime in the near future i'll be publishing those. for now, though, I will continue to take iphone pictures of these munchkins and enjoy these days. they won't last long, as I am often told, and I know already to be true.
