one month to go?

we shall see.

our little Levi is due one month from today. whoa. at that thought, part of me thinks, yeah right, it will be sooner than that! and another part of me thinks, oh.my.goodness.

we're ready. is my hospital bag packed? not completely. is the house immaculately clean? not a chance. is there a beautiful nursery filled with brand-new decor and baby things? ummm...about that. yeah, so we're not really ready. however, Levi has a bed to sleep in. he has one pack of diapers to get started. there are a few adorable newborn outfits to dress him in. and there are three family members (and many, many more) who are so excited to meet him, hold him, nurture him, and love him. so, we're as ready as we need to be.

little Levi, your mommy and daddy and sweet big brother are thrilled to welcome you as a part of our family! we have been counting down the days til your arrival! we have been praying for your health and development, all the details of your coming into this world, your future and most importantly, your salvation. you are such a joy to us already, as we feel your numerous kicks and thank the Lord that you are a strong and healthy boy! we have seen your precious face on ultrasound and we rejoice that you will be a part of our family. we know that you are a gift from God and your daddy and i are stewards over your life on this earth. we pray that we will have the grace and wisdom to raise you in the fear and admonition of the Lord and that you will come to know Him as we live out our lives before you.
