our little man

Ethan Harmon Thomasson. i love this little boy SOOO much, i can't even believe it! i am currently caught up in the newness of being a parent, breastfeeding for the first time ever, recovering from labor, hardly sleeping, etc...and all that these things entail. and the crazy thing is that i absolutely love it! i didn't anticipate when i went to work last friday that less than 24 hrs later i would finally meet our little boy. he is so precious, evidence of our Mighty Creator who is the Giver of Life and has perfectly designed every detail to sustain us! i am overwhelmed.

i am thankful for a wonderful labor experience (and the most intense and difficult thing i have ever done..hats off to all the moms out there!), for a healthy baby boy, for an incredibly loving husband who has jumped into parenthood with both feet and is as in love with our baby as i am, for supportive family and friends, for camisoles that make breastfeeding every 3 hours SO much easier, for time to just be as we are figuring out this new adventure, for breastfeeding that is a new and amazing challenge that allows me to eat more calories than when i was pregnant!, for life...what a sweet blessing.
