ah, the weekend

so, i think this blogging thing will be fun. what is most funny about it right now is that only my husband knows it exists...it's kind of scary to put it out there for all to see...

this weekend is the beginning of a weekend off with my wonderful husband...even if we are both working on projects, it is so refreshing to be home together and in the same room...it's the little things in life. as i begin a study on contentment with women in my church, i am challenged to appreciate each and every moment and really enjoy that moment. whether i am working on a saturday and would rather be outside enjoying the beautiful weather, or if i am at home and wishing i could pick up extra shifts before i transition to being a stay-at-home mom, i don't want to ever look back on my life and wonder why i didn't enjoy the different phases life brings!

this weekend is extra exciting because we are planning on painting the baby's room! we have some colors in mind, but i will leave you in suspense until we are done and pictures are posted! we are 19 weeks pregnant and so excited! planning and preparing help make this journey seem much more real! i am certain it will feel 'real' enough very soon!
